I once was lost and now am found.

Then one day I went to church. There was this girl who I liked, and I thought that I might be able to get to know her better if I asked her if I could go to church with her. I thank God that she said yes and that she would be delighted to take me to church. What followed was a gradual process through which I discovered that there could be so much more to life than I had previously realized. I saw that while I could be a nice guy some of the time, there were also many times when I wasn't very nice at all. I began to see that being nice some of the time doesn't somehow 'cancel out' being terrible at other times. I learned that God has a incredible plan for our lives, a really wonderful plan which He is eager to give to each one of us. He wants each one of us to have the best possible life. God wants to share His infinite love with us. However for us to know this love we need to choose to have God as an integral part of our lives.

I saw how my life fell so far short of what it could be, and was so sorry. And yet, at the same time, seeing the hope of what life can be when God is in charge moved me to want to enter into this new life. I was transformed. It wasn't hard to accept God into my life after He showed me all that is possible. I asked Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, to come into my life and save me. Jesus did this for me. And now, living with Him as my Lord, I can say with joy and thanksgiving that I am living at peace with God. I once was a like a sheep wandering in the wilderness, and then a great shepard (Jesus) found me. He put me on His shoulders, and carried me home.
